Life's Easy, Hangin in my Hammock

There are a lot of items in the baby world that say they will make your life easier or maybe they will help you "be the best parent"... blah blah blah :)

I'm here to share the best thing I have found since little one has come along! It's called a sling - there are many many slings out there and baby front carriers but this one BY FAR out weighs them all.
Here is my opinion... Selfie Alert! Please excuse all below!
We have the moby wrap (borrow from my wonderful sister):
Big, bulky, you are wrapping cloth around you for days!
We also have a Jeep Carrier courtesy of Grandma GiGi (BJs Gma)
Which is fantastic but she cant really sleep comfortably in and it takes a little toll on the lower back- too long with it on and you feel like you have your 20lb pregnant belly back again!

And now for the best I have found - the Seven Sling:
The baby feels safe and snuggled! And Momma's got her hands!!
You can walk around with no arm ache with the sleeping baby or You can sit and have both your arms free!!
OR She can sit!! :) and She LOVES it!
Please excuse the messy hair and silly photos... when I have my baby I turn into a big goof! Anything for that big smile and little laugh!
Now I can cook dinner and not have a crying baby or make my husband cook or get stuck on the couch and say well its too late now, what are we going to buy for dinner!

So go check it out!
www.sevenslings.com
And since I am so nice, a coupon "babybump"
This coupon subtracts $40 from your purchase so you just pay shipping and tax... A whopping $15!!

And I'll leave you with a teaser of whats to come :)
Signing off,
Hands free Momma!

Changes in the house!

New developments in the Wright household:
Sleeping through the night - not anymore
Happy Baby - she tries but shes just not herself lately
Crying - Cries for no reason
Refusing to eat - both the bottle and solids
Chewing on everything in sight (mostly her hands, or trying to get mine) - CHECK

Just all around fussy and not quite the happy baby she was...
All above point to - TEETH!

I'm VERY excited about this milestone and I love that we are stepping into the next phase BUT...
I haven't gotten a solid night sleep in a week and that's abnormal for my baby who has been sleeping through the night since week 8 (I know, I know, I got lucky)!

No one lets you know that sure the first few months you struggle to get a good handle on your new schedule and just when you think that you got it down... You can just throw it out the window! Because those Darn Teeth are gonna screw everything up!

This Momma is down for suggestions.. Found a good blog with 57 different strategies for teething:

http://incredibleinfant.com/teething-baby/baby-teething-pain

I will report back which seemed to work but bottom line is every baby is different and what works for my little one might not for others! And they say this could be from 1 week to 4 weeks :( Poor thing!

Going to get one of these guys tonight (heard they are the best)
Sophie the Giraffe

I think the best thing I read was that as a Mom I should put myself in her shoes - the poor baby is experiencing pain and some babies handle it well and others are a little more sensitive.

She is an amazing trooper because even through the tears you can get a smile out of her!
Oh and ALL THE DROOL!! haha you gotta love it!

Signing off,
Ready for the first tooth to come already!
